Soft-Sock® Prosthetic Socks feel soft and cuddly worn next to the skin. Soft-Socks feature new non-roll tops which help to eliminate bunching. A knit-in “eye-hole” provides a reinforced distal toe option. Available in X-STATIC® - the Silver Fiber® or original polyester fibers, both of which will wick moisture away from the skin and inhibit odor.
Liner-Liner® is a prosthetic sock designed to be worn under a suspension liner next to the skin. They relieve skin shear irritations and improve overall comfort for liner wearers. The ultra-thin material minimizes compromise to the liner’s suction grip on the skin. This prosthetic sock has been tested and proven beneficial for amputees who wear liners as a primary interface. Liner-Liner socks are made with X-STATIC® silver yarn, which helps to inhibit odor in the sock and wick away moisture from the skin.
Compressogrip Shrinkers are used for control or prevention of edema following an amputation surgery, for limb volumetric maintenance, to minimize hypertrophic scarring, and to give compressive support for pain relief. They assure controlled compression, ease of application, and wearer acceptance. Material options include White or Beige polyester and Grey X-STATIC®.
Torso Interface
Torso interfaces were developed by Knit-Rite and introduced to the orthotic profession in 1980. These protective body interfaces may be used with all types of spinal orthoses and body jackets. Just slightly heavier than a T-shirt, torso interfaces provide cushioning, moisture wicking properties to keep skin dry and comfortable. To improve skin protection and patient comfort, torso interfaces have a seamless finishing, and contain outstanding stretch, which allows the garments to be virtually wrinkle-free.
SmartKnit AFO Socks
SmartKnit® AFO socks are made in the same way that
a caterpillar spins its cocoon – starting at the toe, resulting in a seam-free, wrinkle-free sock that is like a second layer of skin. These features provide exceptional softness
and comfort to the wearer. Yarn fibers include Polyester
or X-STATIC® - The Silver Filber® to help wick moisture away from the skin and inhibit odor. SmartKnit AFO
Socks feature a heel-less design which helps to ensure
a perfect fit.
Cranial Interface
Cranial interfaces are designed for children wearing an orthosis to treat positional plagiocephaly and other head shape deformities. Cranial interfaces are used to protect the skin from irritation and wick moisture away. Made with either CoolMax®/Lycra® blend or Lycra®/X-STATIC® - The Silver Fiber® blend, cranial interfaces guard the child against dermatitis.
